Alex LeBlanc, 55, of Memramcook East died Saturday (2 octobre) in Memramcook East. Born in Memramcook East, he was a son of the late Philippe and Dora (Dupuis) LeBlanc.
He was employed with Canadian National Railways prior to retirement, attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East, and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 100079.
He is survived by his wife, the former Antoinette Landry: a daughter, Janel LeBlanc of Memramcook East; two sons, Emile of Cormier's Cove and Gabriel of Memrameook East; four sisters, Mrs. Ulysse Richard (Catherine) of New Hampshire, Mrs. Lorraine Gautreau of St. Joseph, Mrs. Oscar Melanson (Marie-Blanche) of Moncton and Mrs. Alphée Maillet (Joanne) of Westminster, Mass.; four brothers, Adrice, Charles and Hector, all of Memramcook East, and Jacques of Rothesay; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son. Léon, in 1991.
The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
